Achieve a Rustic, Timeless Look
Looking for a raw, organic style that highlights the beauty of simplicity? A Natural Finish delivers a rustic, understated look that’s increasingly popular in modern homes, cafes, and commercial spaces. This finish can be achieved in several ways, depending on whether you have an existing slab or are working with new concrete.
Natural Finish Options
For New Concrete Slabs
- Choose a Nil to Minimal Stone Exposure using either the Grind & Seal (G&S) or Mechanically Polished Concrete (MPC) method in a matte finish.
- This process involves minimal grinding to retain a clean, stone-free surface, achieving a raw and natural aesthetic.
- Note: This finish requires a precisely poured slab to ensure the best results. Contact us for new slab specification guidelines.

For Existing Concrete Slabs
Feather Finish Floor:
- A cementitious overlay is applied to create a continuous, natural look while covering imperfections, stains, or damage. This option is ideal for achieving a rustic character without exposing the underlying concrete.
Minimum/Random Stone Exposure:
- If you prefer to reveal some of the natural aggregate, a Minimum/Random Exposure finish using G&S or MPC in a matte finish can achieve a slightly more textured, organic look. This is also a cost-effective option.
