Choose the Perfect Concrete Finish
There are three distinct levels of stone exposure to choose from: Nil (Cream Finish), Minimal (Salt and Pepper Finish), and Full Stone Exposure. Each offers a unique visual effect to suit different styles and spaces.
Nil Exposure (Cream Finish)
This highly refined finish exposes little to no stone, leaving a smooth, uniform surface. It’s typically achievable only with newly poured concrete, placed specifically for this purpose to avoid surface undulations. Minimal grinding is done to maintain the clean, stone-free appearance, followed by grouting to fill minor imperfections and a final polish to your preferred gloss level.
Best For: Contemporary interiors, high-end residential spaces, and minimalist designs.

Minimal Exposure (Salt and Pepper Finish)
Known for its industrial and versatile look, this finish involves removing just 1-3mm from the surface. Stone exposure varies across the floor depending on the original concrete pour, creating a natural, random pattern. It’s a cost-effective choice popular in garages, restaurants, outdoor areas, and modern industrial designs.
Best For: Garages, cafes, restaurants, outdoor entertainment areas, and modern industrial interiors.
Full Stone Exposure
This finish reveals as much aggregate as possible, creating a highly decorative and visually striking surface. Achieving this look requires deeper grinding (typically 4-6mm) and multiple grinding passes. It’s the most labor-intensive option but delivers a bold, luxurious appearance ideal for homes, showrooms, and commercial spaces.
Best For: Feature floors in homes, showrooms, retail spaces, and high-impact decorative areas.
